AKA. Tiggi!
NOT-GOOSE
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Tiggi - a lifelong artist, avid gamer, and semi-professional nerd.
I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember and drawing for even longer. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve forcing my siblings to play the N64 for me because I wasn't big enough for the controllers. While they played, I'd sit nearby drawing whatever was on screen. The sketches were rough, but they sparked a lifelong passion for character design and visual arts. Having lived all across Canada - quite literally from coast to coast - I've been fortunate to experience a wide range of communities, cultures, and perspectives, though I'll always be an East Coaster at heart. My travels throughout Europe and North Africa have further broadened my appreciation for different stories, artistic traditions, and ways of seeing the world, all of which continue to influence my creative work today.
Comic books, video games, and horror have all played a huge role in shaping my creative interests. Growing up as a bit of an outsider, I found comfort in stories about heroes, weirdos, misfits, and monsters. Spider-Man and the X-Men hold a special place in my heart and helped shape my love of compelling characters and storytelling. Horror has been just as influential - from Silent Hill and Slender: The Eight Pages to The Evil Dead and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, horror's atmosphere, creature design, and occasional dive into full on camp continue to inspire me. (And in case you are wondering: Andrew Garfield is my favorite Spider-Man, but Tobey Maguire is my favorite Peter Parker, Spider's-man is my favourite variant, Superior Spider-Man is my favorite run, and Colossus is my favorite X-Men)
Since 2016, I've been creating costumes and props, combining design with hands-on craftsmanship to bring characters into the real world. Whether I'm drawing, sewing, painting, or tackling an ambitious build, I love turning imagination into reality. Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: I've always been creating. I've spent years taking commissions for artwork and custom costume pieces, helping clients transform their ideas into something personal while developing strong skills in communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
When I'm not creating, you'll probably find me gaming, reading comics, attending conventions, watching horror movies, or spoiling my cats. At the heart of everything I do is a love of creativity, character design, and storytelling. Whether through illustration, costume design, or commission work, I enjoy bringing ideas to life and creating things that connect with people.
